One more week!
Well, we have approximately one week left of summer. (half-hearted "yay!") I can't believe summer's almost over. I mean, I know I was preparing to go back to school back in july because I was excited about the fall fashion and stuff, but now that the shopping's over and we have like nine months of school ahead of us, I'm like... ugh.
Speaking of school, as far as AP history goes, crisis solved! I found the notes on the Internet and have been using them to write my own notes (I've decided this is not cheating in any way because the site I'm using was created by the writer of the textbook, and I'm only using the notes as a GUIDE, not copying them word for word). And they're really helping me to be more brief with my notes, which is good. Thanks, drew!
I got my hair done today! It's an inch shorter (didn't want to lose too much length) and it's REALLY dark brown. Like, darker than I expected. I really like it, but it's going to take some getting used to. I mean, whenever I walk by a mirror I end up staring at my hair, and I either really like what I see or I go "OMG, I look so different." But... I think I like it. It's just a shade darker than my natural color, but I've been blonde-ish for so long, it just seems like a super big change.
Well... like I said, a week left. And I'm working for at least two hours every day until then. It's kind of funny, summer really hasn't felt like summer this year. I've been working the whole time, and I got my license, so I've gotten way more independent, and this year has been surprisingly lacking in BBQs and pool parties. So really it's just been a hiatus from the usual stress of homework and tests and deadlines, etc. Kinda weird, but it's been nice.
In other news, I found a really funny cartoon! It made me think of Haley! See if you agree!

"i'm a hippopotamus and i've got noodles on my back, noodles on y back, noodles on my back.." how on earth doesnt that remind you of me?! its not like i'm obsessed w/ noodles or hippos! lol.. maybe cuz its random and retarded like me :) ap history... oh man, havent even started-- i've been SO BUSY like, every day, ive got tons, i havent really had time.. plus im working in all honors, and asb, and swimming (cudas and hs after sept 19.. argh!)

Hee hee, the first line made me think of u because of it's randomness "I'm a hippopotamus and I like to hop, and I also like to drink, soda pop!" Idk, it reminded me of sheeptree sort of, so it was funny. Anyway, I'm glad you're going to be as busy as me (if not more!) That makes me feel better that I won't be the only one totally stressing throughout the year. lol!
